The two-year Dream Work and Spiritual Direction Training certification courses are offered through six Thursday afternoon to Monday morning in-person intensives held at Kanuga Conference Center, or 36 bi-weekly virtual meeting sessions held on the Zoom platform. Small group cohorts are formed at the beginning of the courses and each group is accompanied through the program by a trained Haden Institute mentor. The Spiritual Direction training focuses on companioning others as they explore, expand, and experience their relationship with God, using whatever name and image they hold for the Holy One. Making meaning of nightly dreams by translating the images and symbols in the stories into waking life wisdom is the focus of Dream Work training. Both courses teach methods and practices for accessing inner wisdom, which leads to greater health and wholeness. Creative embodiment is woven throughout both courses and participants leave with a deep understanding that ritual, image, and movement are integral to the process of companioning others.
The Summer Dream and Spirituality Conference is an annual opportunity for spiritual seekers and dream workers to gather in the beauty of Western North Carolina or virtually, and learn from keynote speakers, workshop presenters, and creative embodiment sessions. Haden staff members facilitate Dream Groups each day, using the Haden Method of projective dream work.
