Creative Embodiment is a part of everything we teach at the Haden Institute and is our response to the call to lean into Mystery. It is alchemical magic that transforms thoughts, ideas, and information into lived experiences of deep soul understanding. Embodiment through one of many modalities like collage, painting, weaving, storytelling, poetry, dancing, music, or yoga shifts our focus away from what we know and cling to as certainty, into a realm of infinite possibilities.
As we move into heart space, we find the larger Story beneath the story we have been telling ourselves. And that the deeper we go in the discovery of our own stories, the more we connect with the universal stories of all humanity. We discover that the wisdom and strength to integrate new understandings rises from within our own souls. We discover community with others on the same path and know we are not as alone as we can sometimes feel.
Embodiment sessions are integral to our Spiritual Direction and Dream Work certification courses, and the Summer Dream and Spirituality Conference. Participants are welcomed into the curated Creative Spaces, both in-person at Kanuga and online for virtual participants. Presentations and workshops provide opportunities to explore new embodiment practices and embrace the benefit of leaning into Mystery.
