Summer Dream & Spirituality Conference:
God’s Forgotten Language

May 26– May 31, 2013 - [RATES ARE below]

Sunrise at the Kanuga Pavilion

Every year people walk away from the conference saying “this is the best yet.” Others say, “The quality of this conference is hard to find elsewhere.” 2013, our 11th year, will have new and exciting presenters and workshop leaders as well as the great core staff we have always had. This is what attracts participants from around the world each year. We are a growing community that is having a significant impact on the world.

The conference is expanded this year to include spirituality as well as dream work and includes:

This conference has become the portal for Christian dream work in our time.

A tradition was begun in the Summer of 2003 – a major conference for all who want to recover the ancient Biblical tradition of listening for God’s word in our nightly dreams. We have had a large crowd every summer, and the conference has been designed for new and returning participants. In addition to lectures and workshops, there will be outdoor/indoor worship, music, the Kanuga Labyrinth, and all the gifts of the Blue Ridge Mountains in early summer.

The Bible is full of dreams. Paying attention to dreams did not end with Biblical times. The early church theologian, Tertullian, said: “Is it not known to all people that the dream is the most usual way of God’s revelation to humankind?” Later generations tended to discount dreams, at a great loss to our soul. However, we are now seeing a resurgence of respect and honor for our dreams.

Understanding our dreams in the light of the Christian faith and tradition is the objective of this conference. There will be special programs for beginning, returning and advanced participants. The conference is for previous attendees, professionals (especially clergy), counselors, therapists, lay dream group leaders, and anyone who wants to integrate this process into his/her life.
